One of my Favorite Show

One of my favorites show is The Golden Girls. Even though the show ended in 1992, I still watch it as I did when first was aired in 1985. I do not get tired at watching the re-runs on TV. These four ladies were a riot, and each one of them shows the way the enjoy in their own way their golden years of retirement down in Florida. Every chapter brings laughter and memories. Each one of the actress and their characters: Bea Arthur(Dorothy Zbornak), Betty White (Rose Nylund), Rue McClanahan (Blanche Devereaux) and Estelle Getty (Sophia Petrillo) are a monument to friendship!
Let me share the last scene from the show.

Beading

I mentioned before that one of my hobbies is make beading jewelery. I enjoy this hobby a lot because it relaxes me and takes me away from any worries I may have. If I feel upset, beading will keep my mind focus, and during this time I do not think about the issue, the event or the person that had upset me. It also, beading brings my creativity out. I create new designs and combine different beads colors.
This is one of my creation in process.

I was listening to one of my favorite singer today. He is name is Josh Groban. Despite his young age, his achievements are great. He was trained as opera singer and at age 17 years David Foster, one of the most prolific music composer and talent promoter, used Josh as a stand-in for Andrea Bocelli who rehearsed together with Celine Dion, Foster's song "The Prayer".
He is an example for many young people who work hard to achieve his dreams.

Here is the video of my favorite song: You Raise Me Up

Good Recipes

If anybody is interesting in having an excellent "Arroz con Pollo" you can try this recipe.

Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  2. 4 chicken thighs
  3. 4 chicken drumsticks
  4. 2 teaspoons salt
  5. 1/2 teaspoon fresh-ground black pepper
  6. 2 ounces smoked ham, cut into 1/4-inch dice
  7. 1 small onion, chopped
  8. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  9. 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  10. 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  11. 1 3/4 cups canned tomatoes, drained and chopped
  12. 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  13. 2 cups canned low-sodium chicken broth or homemade stock
  14. 1 cup rice, preferably long-grain
  15. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. In a large, deep frying pan, heat the oil over moderately high heat. Season the chicken with 1/4 teaspoon each of the salt and pepper. Cook the chicken, turning, until well browned, about 8 minutes in all. Remove. Pour off all but 2 tablespoons of the fat from the pan.
  2. Reduce the heat to moderately low. Add the ham, onion, and garlic to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion starts to soften, about 2 minutes. Add the bell peppers and cook, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften, about 3 minutes longer.
  3. Add the tomatoes, tomato paste, broth, and the remaining 1 3/4 teaspoons salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper and bring to a simmer. Stir in the rice and add the chicken in an even layer. Simmer, partially covered, over moderately low heat until the chicken and rice are just done, 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley.
  4. Enjoy
